This role places you at the heart of the convergence between Web3 and the creator economy through our innovative Autheo Layer-1 blockchain platform and GO WFO extreme sports creator network built on Autheo.

• Collaborate with a team of seasoned entrepreneurs who have successfully launched ventures nationally and internationally, raised capital exceeding $500 million, and spearheaded several high-revenue disruptive projects.
• Work alongside our global team of 55 experts to position Launch Legends as a leader in the creator network, with the potential to revolutionize the industry.

Future Compensation Plans

While this is initially an equity-only role, our comprehensive tokenomics plan includes offering tokens to co-founders upon completion. Following our anticipated public token sale within the next six months, we plan to introduce salaries for both full-time and part-time positions.

About the Organization

Launch Lends has been under development for over two years. We are gearing up to launch:

1. Autheo: Our Layer-1 blockchain platform tailored for creators to own, expand, and monetize their networks.
2. GO WFO: The first Layer-2 Creator Network focused on extreme sports operating on the Autheo platform.

These initiatives are set to transform the creator industry, projected to reach $500 billion by 2027, and the extreme sports market, an exciting sports sector with over 400 million active partipants worldwide. 

Position: Senior Web3 Infrastructure, Node Management, and DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Senior Web3 Infrastructure, Node Management, and DevOps Engineer to join our team as a co-founder. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps for blockchain systems, particularly within a Web3 environment, with extensive experience in microservices, Kubernetes clusters, and managing blockchain nodes. Experience with Cosmos SDK and node operations will be a significant advantage. This role is crucial for the successful implementation, management, and scaling of our blockchain infrastructure, including both Layer 1 and Layer 2 solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Infrastructure Design and Management

   • Design, implement, and manage the infrastructure for our blockchain ecosystem, focusing on scalability, security, and efficiency across Layer 1 and Layer 2 solutions.
   • Take ownership of the company's cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, GCP, Cloudflare, and Digital Ocean, optimizing cloud solutions for performance and cost-effectiveness.

2. Node Management and Kubernetes Orchestration

   • Optimize the deployment, monitoring, and scaling of blockchain nodes and related services, ensuring high availability and reliability.
   • Manage Kubernetes clusters, implementing best practices for microservices architecture to support the decentralized infrastructure.
   • Automate the deployment process using CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and operational workflows.

3. Blockchain-Specific DevOps Practices

   • Collaborate with the development team to integrate DevOps practices and tools, focusing on the unique requirements of blockchain systems, including security and consensus mechanisms.
   • Manage and optimize cloud resources, particularly within environments like Digital Ocean and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, ensuring they meet the demands of a Web3 architecture.

4. Version Control and Workflow Optimization

   • Maintain and manage code repositories and workflows on GitHub, ensuring efficient collaboration and version control across development teams.
   • Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform and Ansible, to automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure resources.

5. Monitoring, Security, and Troubleshooting

   • Implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring the reliability and security of the blockchain network.
   • Demonstrate expertise in AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda), Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes, applying these tools to optimize the infrastructure.
   • Utilize tools like Salt, Vault, Python, and Bash scripting for automation and configuration management, enhancing operational efficiency and security.

6. Team Leadership and Continuous Improvement

   • Lead and mentor a small team of DevOps professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the Web3 environment.
   • Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and best practices, ensuring transparency and knowledge sharing within the team.

7. Industry Engagement and Continuous Learning

   • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Web3, blockchain, and DevOps, driving continuous improvement in infrastructure management and operational practices.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, particularly in blockchain or Web3 projects.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, especially Digital Ocean, with experience in AWS and Oracle Cloud.
• Proficiency in managing and optimizing GitHub repositories and workflows.
• Extensive experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, and experience with automation tools like Salt and Vault.
• In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI.
• Expertise in networking principles, with the ability to configure and troubleshoot network components within cloud environments.
• Experience in leading small teams of DevOps engineers, combining hands-on technical work with managerial responsibilities.
• Significant Web3 experience, particularly in decentralized systems, with a deep understanding of the Cosmos SDK and node management.
• Proficiency in CDN management and AWS Secrets Manager.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with running blockchain nodes, particularly in a Cosmos SDK environment.
• Previous experience in a startup environment with a passion for innovation and building from the ground up.
• Understanding of blockchain technologies, protocols, and best practices within the Web3 space.
