This role places you at the heart of the convergence between Web3 and the creator economy through our innovative Autheo Layer-1 blockchain platform with an integrated social platform and the first affinity network WFO (building on Autheo), an extreme sports creator network built on Autheo.

Future Compensation Plans

While this is initially an equity-only role, our comprehensive tokenomics plan includes offering tokens to co-founders upon completion of our anticipated public token sale in by this December or January, where we plan to introduce salaries for both full-time and part-time positions.

About the Organization

Launch Lends has been under development for over 3.5 years. We are gearing up to launch:

1. Autheo: Our Layer-1 blockchain with integrated social platform for creators to own, expand, and monetize their networks.
2. WFO: Extreme Sports Affinity Network "Built on Autheo" to showcase the power of Autheo for affinity network ecosystem launch and growth. 

These initiatives are set to transform the creator industry, projected to reach $500 billion by 2027, and the extreme sports market, an exciting sports sector with over 400 million active partipants worldwide.

POSITION:  DIRECTOR OF DECENTRALIZED DATA SCIENCE AND AI (PHD LEVEL)

As the Director of Privacy and Decentralized Identity Research at Launch Legends, you will lead the pioneering efforts to develop robust privacy and identity frameworks that empower creators on Autheo’s Layer-1 blockchain and disruptive social platform. This role goes beyond traditional privacy mechanisms by incorporating decentralized identity (DID) solutions and offering users granular control over their data in a decentralized cloud. You will architect privacy protocols that allow creators to retain ownership of their data, control its usage, and choose to opt-in or opt-out of AI-driven analytics. This is a pivotal role aimed at establishing Autheo as a leader in user autonomy and data sovereignty within the Web3 ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop Decentralized Identity (DID) Solutions:

   • Architect a decentralized identity framework that enables users to manage their identity and credentials independently, without relying on centralized intermediaries.
   • Create self-sovereign identity (SSI) protocols using DID standards (such as W3C DIDs) and verifiable credentials that allow creators to authenticate across different applications on the Autheo platform.
   • Design mechanisms for secure identity recovery in a decentralized environment, ensuring creators can regain access to their identity even without a centralized authority.
   • Develop identity solutions that integrate seamlessly with Autheo’s social platform and ecosystem, ensuring a smooth and secure experience for creators and users.

2. Privacy-Preserving Data Storage on a Decentralized Cloud:

   • Lead the implementation of a decentralized cloud infrastructure that gives creators full ownership and control of their data. This includes creating encrypted storage solutions using decentralized protocols (e.g., IPFS, Arweave) to ensure data security and permanence.
   • Enable creators to manage permissions on their data, allowing them to determine who can access or utilize specific data sets, especially in the context of social interactions, content sharing, and blockchain-based services.
   • Develop data-sharing protocols that protect creators' privacy while enabling secure and verifiable transactions on the blockchain, ensuring that data ownership is respected at every layer of the platform.

3. User-Controlled AI Data Analytics with Opt-In/Opt-Out Capability:

   • Create privacy-first AI analytics models that respect user autonomy by allowing creators to opt-in or opt-out of data-driven insights and AI-powered recommendations.
   • Design protocols for federated learning, enabling the platform to generate AI insights from decentralized data sets without compromising individual privacy or requiring data centralization.
   • Ensure that users who opt-in to AI analytics retain ownership over any derived data, such as insights generated from their usage patterns, while those who opt-out are excluded entirely from data aggregation processes.
   • Develop consent management tools that allow creators to see how their data is used in analytics, adjust their preferences, and withdraw consent at any time.

4. Integration of Zero-Knowledge Proofs and Selective Disclosure Mechanisms:

   • Implement zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs) and selective disclosure methods that enable creators to verify credentials or prove participation without revealing their full identity or personal data.
   • Use ZKPs to enhance privacy in AI analytics, allowing users to provide anonymized data proofs while keeping their actual data private.
   • Design systems that allow creators to selectively disclose specific data attributes, supporting secure interactions on the platform while safeguarding private information.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration with Product, Legal, and Engineering Teams:

   • Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure privacy protocols are integrated seamlessly into Autheo’s architecture, creating a user-friendly experience that balances functionality with security.
   • Collaborate with the in-house legal team to ensure all data privacy and identity management practices comply with international regulations (such as GDPR, CCPA), helping to future-proof Autheo’s compliance framework.
   • Lead cross-functional initiatives to align decentralized privacy features with Autheo’s overall product vision and long-term roadmap, ensuring that user-centric privacy remains a top priority.

6. Advanced Privacy Controls and Transparency for Users:

   • Develop intuitive dashboards and interfaces that give creators visibility into their data ownership, storage, and sharing options on the platform.
   • Provide users with advanced privacy controls that allow them to manage permissions on an individual or granular level, such as choosing to share specific types of data with certain applications, communities, or analytics services.
   • Establish transparent, immutable records on the blockchain that document user consent and data permissions, giving creators peace of mind and control over their digital footprint.

7. Thought Leadership in Privacy and Decentralized Identity for Web3:

   • Conduct and publish research on privacy-preserving technologies, decentralized identity, and user-centric data ownership models, establishing Autheo as a thought leader in the blockchain and Web3 spaces.
   • Represent Autheo at conferences, forums, and industry events, sharing insights on privacy and identity best practices, and advocating for ethical standards in data usage and user autonomy.
   • Engage with the broader Web3 and blockchain community to share knowledge, explore partnerships, and contribute to the development of open standards and best practices for privacy in decentralized ecosystems.
